NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. – A winter storm is forecast to move onto the central plains Wednesday night into Thursday, according to the National Weather Service office in Valley.
While the specific details remained uncertain Sunday afternoon, meteorologists say confidence remains somewhat high that at least some portion of the region could experience a few inches of snow. Blowing and drifting snow and sharply colder temperatures are also possible.
Additional snow chances are in the forecast both Friday and Saturday, as a couple of clipper systems move through the region.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned to News Channel Nebraska as details become more clear later this week.
