Probation Ordered After Falls City Traffic Stop

FALLS CITY – Probation and fines were ordered after a Nebraska State Patrol traffic stop in Falls City on Jan. 2.
Matthew Hanesworth, 36, of Falls City and Sarah Hanesworth, 27, of St. Joseph, Mo., were fined $400 and ordered to nine months probation.
Sarah Hanesworth was driving a pickup truck that was stopped by a state trooper in Falls City. The state trooper reported finding seven pipes used to smoke meth and several bags with meth residue in the pickup, as well as a hypodermic needled that field tested for meth.
In plea agreements, felony charges of possession of meth were reduced to misdemeanor attempt of a felony.
