Sapp Charges With Terroristic Threats At Auburn Apartment

AUBURN – An Auburn man is accused of threatening to kill the occupants of a 19th Street apartment before collapsing in police’s arms.

Sheriff’s deputies say 20-year-old Nicholas Sapp was unsteady on his feet when they arrived on a call of a domestic disturbance.

After he was handcuffed, the deputy says, Sapp swayed and almost fell on his face. The deputy pulled Sapp down by the cuffs until he sat on an outdoor deck. The deputy called the rescue squad, but Sapp refused treatment.

Court records say Sapp had knocked on an apartment door and threatened to return to kill the family that resides there.

Sapp was taken to the Nemaha County Hospital with suspicion that he had taken Xanax, until he was cleared to sit in jail or a diagnostic facility.
