Scheitel Seeks To Revoke Supervised Release

FALLS CITY – Deputy Richardson County Attorney Samantha Scheitel is asking a district court to revoke the post release supervision of a Falls City man who served time for assaulting an inmate at the county jail.

Scheitel said 28-year-old Jefrey Morley was kicked out of a treatment program and had not had contact with probation officers since March.

Judge Julie Smith told Morley that if she revokes his post release supervision he could be sentenced to 366 days in prison.

Morley was sentenced for a 2017 fight after Morley grabbed the television remote control.

Smith appointed the public defender and set an Aug. 14 hearing.
