FALLS CITY – Richardson County sheriff’s deputies made two warrant arrests on Thursday.
Deputies conducted a warrant stop of a vehicle and arrested 22-year-old Scott Bachman Jr.
He is suspected of selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant in 2017. The Nebraska State Patrol investigation also named four other Richardson County residents.
Bachman is scheduled for a settlement conference Nov. 13 on a burglary charge.
Earlier in the day, a deputy responding to a civil matter discovered that a woman there was wanted on a Nemaha County warrant.
A warrant was issued for 43-year-old Kristy Faye Smith of Stafford, Kan., on Wednesday. She was sentenced on a possession charge to 18 months probation on Sept. 13, but needed to permission from her probation officer before moving between states.
