Sheriff Recognizes Farmers’ Bravery In Suspect Pursuit

SIDNEY –  The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office recognized local farmers for their assistance in a recent arrest.

Fremont County Sheriff Kevin Aistrope and K9 Deputy Zac Buttercase presented certificates to Chris Clark and Dustin Sheldon.

Clark and Sheldon assisted Buttercase during a pursuit and apprehension of a suspect that fled during a traffic stop.

The sheriff said Clark and Sheldon’s quick response to the aid of the sheriff’s office helped prevent injuries to the public or damage.

The certificate expresses appreciation, respect and gratitude.

Certificate: “We commend you for bravely rendering aid and assistance. Your quick action and selfless dedication to the safety of the community does not go unnoticed.”

Aistrope: “Fremont County is lucky to have great citizens like these gentlemen. I am very pleased to serve this county.”

Buttercase:  “It’s good to know that we have people out here that we can count on when we are by ourselves. I am truly grateful to serve this community.”
