Sheriff Says Car Left Highway And Hit Tree Head-On

SIDNEY – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one-vehicle accident on Highway 59 near Shenandoah.

Investigators say Daniel Douglas of Shenandoah was driving a Ford Focus south on the highway, when he struck a guardrail. The car continued south until it struck a tree head on.

Douglas was transported to the Shenandoah Hospital by Shenandoah Rescue, with unknown injuries.

Shenandoah Police and Shenandoah Fire and Rescue assisted the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office with the call.
