Syracuse Considers Easing Limit On Pets

The Syracuse City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. on Oct. 11 at city hall.

The agenda includes an ordinance to increase the limit of licensed dogs at a residence.
John and Krista Voyles earlier requested the increase for dogs and cats. They have tree pets, but the ordinance places a limit at two.

A zoning change is also proposed to allow “small, wireless facility” in the downtown commercial district, as well as general commercial and industrial.

A public hearing is set for the final plat for the hospital addition in the DKT industrial park.

The Knights of Columbus are requesting a special designated liquor license for a fish fry at the St. Paulinus Church on Nov. 5.

Carolyn Gigstad and Darin Lintner will request use of city property for GermanFest.
