Syracuse Council Approves Swimming Pool Lift

SYRACUSE – The Syracuse City Council approved the purchase of a swimming pool lift.

The city’s park and recreation director was approached by a family in need and recognizes a similar need for others who have trouble getting in and out of the pool.

The council voted unanimously for the pool lift, which is expected to be available on opening day.

The city is also considering expansion of Park Hill Cemetery and looking for members to the cemetery board.

The council also accepted Michael Hughes to the fire department and Derek Harm’s bid to maintain the leaf pile.
