Syracuse Council Considers Fountain In Williams Park

SYRACUSE – The Syracuse City Council met at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The agenda includes summer pool hours and a water fountain in Williams Park.

The parks department will also discuss the impact of the emerald ash borer.

Cleanup will begin with tree removal at the residence located at 6th and Midland and preparation to clear the burned house and shed from the lot.

In  new business , Mike Rudolph from the Otoe county fair board will be discussing street closures for the Otoe County Fair.

The Syracuse Planning Commission will also met Wednesday to discuss five zoning districts for the acreage overlay.
