Syracuse Council Considers Sand Volleyball, Sanitation Deal

SYRACUSE – Sand volleyball and hospital utilities are on the agenda for tonight’s Syracuse City Council meeting.

Recreation Director Shayna Murrell is expected to propose installation of sand volleyball poles and equipment  at the 6 p.m. meeting.

The city is also considering a cost-share agreement with Community Memorial Hospital for public works improvements.

The city is considering well field development opportunities, a contract with Papillion Sanitation and a bid for property upstairs of city hall.

Scott Pulverenti and Jeff Newton of Five Nines will present on City Uptime Project Scope.

In new business, the city will consider a beer garden for Germanfest July 14 and countywide housing rehabilitation.
