Two Arrested in Butler County on Suspicion of Dealing Meth

BUTLER COUNTY, Neb. – Two people were arrested in rural Butler County late last week after a vehicle search yielded multiple ounces of meth.

According to the Butler County Sheriffs Office, deputies located a suspicious vehicle in the intersection of Highway 92 and R Rd., which sits around three miles northwest of Brainard.

The BCSO said on their Facebook page that the deputies were eventually allowed to search the vehicle, where they found four ounces of meth located in a hidden compartment. The sheriffs office estimates the drug was valued around $10,000.

The pair was arrested for possession of meth with intent to deliver and they’re currently housed at the Butler County jail.

The two people were not named in the sheriff’s release.
