The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning, for southeast Nebraska, northeast Kansas and Mills County in Iowa.

* VISIBILITIES…One quarter mile or less.

* TIMING…Dense fog through 8 AM, with fog lifting between 8 AM and 10 AM. *

IMPACTS…Reduced visibilities will result in hazardous driving conditions. Slow down and be prepared for delays during the Friday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
