Woman In Flip Flops Suspected of Meth, Child Abuse

NEBRASKA CITY – Police investigating a shoplifting report at Walmart arrested an Auburn woman for suspicion of methamphetamine possession, probation violation and child abuse.

An arrest affidavit says 37-year-old Chevron Rogers told police she removed the tags on flip flops to try them on and forget she was wearing them when she left the store.

Police report finding a syringe that field  tested for meth in her purse. Police also report that a child accompanied Rogers.
