Women Airlifted From Highway 59 Crash

SIDNEY – Fremont County Sheriff Kevin Aistrope reports serious injuries after a Saturn Aura struck a tree on Highway 59 south of Shenandoah on Wednesday.

Shenandoah Fire and Rescue used the “jaws of life” to free the trapped driver, 39-year-old Michelle Graham of Fairfax, Mo. She was taken by air ambulance to Nebraska Medicine.

A passenger, 56-year-old Teresa Amthor of Rock Port was also air lifted. Seatbelts and airbags were deployed.
