UPDATE: Since receiving his first division one offer from the University of Wyoming, Johnson-Brock’s Ty Hahn has received offers from University of North Dakota, South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota.

He also visited the University of Iowa on Friday, April 26, but the Hawkeyes have not offered the 6’2″ athlete.

JOHNSON – Johnson-Brock’s Ty Hahn visited the University of Wyoming in Laramie this week. Soon after, the 6’2” junior picked up his first Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) offer from the Cowboys.

“Blessed and excited to say that after a great visit, I have received a scholarship offer to play football at the University of Wyoming! #Rideforthebrand,” Hahn said in a Tweet Saturday afternoon.

Hahn – who played several skill positions for the 2018 Class D2 state champions, including wideout, linebacker and returner – has 154 career catches for 2,897 yards and 70 total touchdowns through three seasons with the Eagles.

On defense, he’s registered 292 tackles and 10 interceptions, including two pick-sixes.

He’s returned two kickoffs and two punts back for touchdowns.

Hahn is a three-sport athlete at Johnson-Brock. He’s a member of the 2018-2019 Class D2 state championship basketball team,  averaging 17 points per game and 5 rebounds per game in his career.

He’s currently the Class D leader in the 100- (10.9) and 200-meter dashes (22.17) and the defending champion in the 200. He was runner-up in the 100-meter dash last spring. He set his state-leading and personal best in the 200 when he won the event at the Track and Field Festival this week, featuring competition from all classes.

Hahn has visited Nebraska, Minnesota and South Dakota State so far, but Wyoming is the first division one school to offer.
