AUBURN – Emma Goering had 10 kills, Ashley Teten and Sydnie Reeves each had four ace serves, and the Auburn volleyball team swept Elmwood-Murdock in the quarterfinals of the East Central Nebraska Conference Tournament Monday, 25-19, 25-11, 25-12 (3-0).
Reeves also had 22 assists and 8 digs.
“Tonight is always a big night for us as a team,” Bulldogs Head Coach Lexie Baack said. “As the stats show we ran a very even offense with very few errors on our end. Our front row took care of a lot of balls, while our back row stepped up big time especially when we were out of system.”
Rachel Bohling had 10 digs. Jocelyn Lambert finished with 5 blocks and 7 kills.
Auburn plays Louisville in the semifinals tonight (Tuesday) after the Malcolm/Palmyra semi-final match at 6:30 p.m. Both matches will be played at Malcolm High School.
