Branched Oak pitching stalls Auburn offense

MALCOLM – The Branched Oak (Raymond Central/Malcolm) baseball team only gave up one hit and didn’t allow Auburn to score a run in a 4-0 win over the Bulldogs Tuesday evening.

Branched Oak scored three runs in the second inning and a run in the third. They finished with 10 total hits.

Noah Wynn took the loss on the mound for Auburn. He lasted two innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out two and walking zero. Brandon Lavigne went 1-for-3 to lead the Bulldogs at the plate.

Auburn drops their record to 4-2 and will host Falls City on Thursday at Tushla Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on B103 (103.1 FM and
