Class B: Egr’s Four-Hit Day Leads Wahoo Past O’Neill

ALLIANCE, Neb. – Dylan Egr finished with four hits, including a three singles and a double, and Wahoo blew past O’Neill, 16-3 in five innings, in the first round of the Class B Senior Legion State Baseball Tournament in Alliance.

Wahoo took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning. Egr doubled off of Easteban DeLao, driving in two runs. Brenton Davis added a three-run home run.

Wahoo added six more runs in the third inning on a single by Egr, a double by Karson Hesser and a single by Davis.

Wahoo finished with 12 hits in the game.

Bailey Thompson led O’Neill with two runs batted in. He went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Wahoo will play the winner of Gering and Alliance on Sunday at 7 p.m. O’Neill falls to the consolation bracket and will play the loser.
