The Falls City baseball team lost the lead in the fifth inning and Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy defeated the Tigers 8-6 on Thursday at Southeast Nebraska Communications Field in Falls City.
Ransom Campbell singled on a 2-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run and giving Falls City the early lead. The game was tied at four in the fifth when Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy took their first lead on a wild pitch.
The Tigers finished with eight total hits. Kade Bredemeier, Parker Thompson, and Collin Cook each collected multiple hits. Campbell and Thompson each drove in two runs. They didn’t commit a single error in the field.
Falls City drops to 5-7 and will be at West Nodaway, MO on Saturday.
