Falls City downs Elmwood-Murdock-Nehawka, pulls record to .500

FALLS CITY – Kade Bredemeier went 2-3 at the plate and scored two runs in Falls City’s 6-2 victory over Elmwood-Murdock-Nehawka Thursday night at Southeast Nebraska Communications Field in Falls City.

Bredemeier was also credited for the win on the mound. He threw five innings, allowed two runs on five hits and struck out three. Jake Craig recorded the final six outs to earn the save.

The Blue Storm scored three runs in the third inning with RBI’s from Ransom Campbell and Chaydyn Butler.

Ethan Petersen took the loss for E-M-N. He went four innings, allowed six runs on seven hits and struck out five

Austin Boucher led Elmwood-Murdock-Nehawka by going 2-2 at the dish. He also scored one run.

Falls City pulls their record to 2-2 and will host Louisville/Weeping Water on Tuesday. E-M-N hosts Waverly on Tuesday.
