German Dom Uhl stars in Iowa men’s basketball team’s exhibition win in Germany

HEIDELBERG, Germany — Playing in his home nation, senior Dom Uhl filled up the stat sheet as the Iowa men’s basketball team ran past the German All-Stars 99-65 in an exhibition Tuesday.

Four Hawkeyes scored in double figures, led by freshman Luka Garza with 17. Tyler Cook scored 16 points, Isaiah Moss had 15 and Nicholas Baer chipped in 10.

Uhl, a native of Frankfurt, Germany, had seven points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.

Iowa will play an exhibition in Switzerland against the Swiss All-Stars on Thursday.
