Legion Baseball roundup: Auburn scores 13 unanswered runs to beat Plattsmouth

Auburn 13, Plattsmouth 5: Auburn (9-0) trailed 5-0 after the top of the second inning, but scored 13 unanswered runs over the next three innings to comeback to earn their ninth win of the season, 13-5 in five innings. Sam Neiman, Drew Dixon and Baily Darnell each had two hits. Darnell finished with a triple, an RBI and a run scored. Dylan Mayfield and Connor Pohlmeier led Plattsmouth (1-7) with a pair of hits each.

Mt. Michael 9, Nebraska City 5: Mt. Michael scored eight of their nine runs in the first three innings and Nebraska City couldn’t comeback in a 9-5 loss on Tuesday. Max Chaney and Dylan Knoell each registered two hits. Knoell scored twice. He also threw five innings and struck out five.

Sabetha 9, Falls City 0: Seth Burick drove in four runs and Sabetha defeated Falls City on Tuesday. Blake Frsy added a triple, a run scored and an RBI. Brett Stallbaumer threw a complete game, five-inning shutout. He gave up just three hits and struck out four. Ransom Campbell had two of the Blue Storms’ three hits.
