JOHNSON, Neb. – The Lourdes Central Catholic football team evened their record to 3-3, while improving to 2-0 in the Class D1-1 district, with a 42-32 win over Johnson-Brock Friday in Johnson.
Eagles junior quarterback Cole Fossenbarger threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns. He also led the team in rushing with 80 yards. Sophomore receiver Ty Hahn finished with 107 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Senior Ben Bohling led the team in tackling with 18.
“We were in the right position to win the game and a few plays went the other way,” Johnson-Brock Head Coach Mitch Roberts said. “We will continue to work on controlling the line of scrimmage.”
The Eagles will play at Tri County (1-5) on Friday. The Knights have the week off after Omaha Christian Academy had to forfeit their season due to low numbers.
