Millard South claims Plattsmouth crown

PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. — Five champions paced Class A No. 1 Millard South to the team title at the Plattsmouth Invitational on Saturday.

The Patriots had winners in Caleb Coyle (106 pounds), Conor Knopick (126), Antrell Taylor (132), Tyler Antoniak (138) and Isaac Trumble (182) to outpoint Class B No. 5 Blair by 52.5 for the top team finish.

Blair got its lone title from top-ranked Jackson Nielsen at 120.

Freshman Garrett Grice of Bellevue East and Lincoln High senior Isaiah Alford remained unbeaten on the season with golds at 113 and 170, respectively.
