Plattsmouth Claims Syracuse Cross Country Invite

SYRACUSE, Neb. – The Plattsmouth boys cross country edged Aurora to claim the Syracuse Invitational on a sunny and warm Friday. The Blue Devils scored 27 points compared to the Huskies 31.

The Falls City boys team was led by Braden Kobza. He ran 17:09 to finish 9th.

“This was his best race of the season thus far,” Head Coach Cody Hawley said. “He really stepped up to the challenge of the runners from Class B.”

Falls City hosts their home meet on October 5, the final tune-up before districts.
