Plattsmouth earns second win of the season with victory over Branched Oak

MALCOLM – Josh Aho hit a home run, drove in three runs and scored a run in Plattsmouth’s 7-2 win over Branched Oak (Malcolm/Raymond Central) in Malcolm on Monday. The Northwest Missouri State baseball recruit finished 2-3 at the plate.

Hunter Adkins earned the win on the mound. He struck out seven batters while giving up two runs on four hits.

Aaronn Aho finished 1-3 at the dish with 2 RBI’s.

The Blue Devils are now 2-7 on the year and will host #4 Waverly (8-3) on Tuesday at Plattsmouth High School.

Branched Oak is 2-5 and hosts Fort Calhoun (0-7) on Thursday.
