Prep softball roundup: Syracuse snaps losing streak; Bennington tops Nebraska City; and Savannah no-hits Falls City

Syracuse 12, Yutan 5: Syracuse was outhit by Yutan, 12-10, but six runs in the top of the seventh gave the Rockets their second win this season.

Bennington 13, Nebraska City 2: Bennington finished with 11 hits and had home runs from Laurin Miller, Kailee Matlock, Taylor Sedlacek and Madalyn Elwood.  Kyleigh Boever led the Badgers to victory in the pitcher’s circle. She went four innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out two and walking zero. Nebraska City’s Mackenzie Anthens went 2-2 at the plate.
