First Snow Of Fall Slips In On November 8

NEBRASKA CITY – Weather forecast call for a little snow at times today, but roads are already getting slicks in spots.

Street Commissioner Vic Johns said Nebraska City street crews have had plows ready to go for weeks, but will hopefully not be needed much. Less than an inch of accumulation is forecast for Nebraska City, but a weather advisory Thursday morning said up to three inches could fall before midnight in Falls City.

Weather Streets’ snow depth analysis shows the heaviest accumulation on a band from Tecumseh to Hamburg.
