Police Still Want Cars Moved For Snow Plows

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City police continue to urge motorists to avoid being towed by moving cars off of unplowed parking spots.

Police tagged about 60 cars with warnings reminding motorists that parking is not allowed more than 24 hours on city streets.

The city street department continues to plow snow and requests cars be moved off of parking areas that are not cleared.

During snow emergencies cars that parked on designated snow routes are towed immediately.

Police  Chief Dave Lacy said cars have not been towed in residential areas outside of the snow routes, but police are considering tow options as the days pass.
