Soccer, Tourism and Homecoming Parade on City’s Agenda

NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17.

The agenda includes a public hearing on the budget and a tourism development project at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center and the hiring of JEO Consulting for plans to use the Wyuka Cemetery expansion area for soccer playing fields.

Dinty Moore’s will request use of three stalls in  the Memorial Building parking area during the Applejack Festival and the high school proposes a homecoming parade at 2 p.m. on Sept. 28  on Central Avenue.

Brickway Brewery and Distillery seeks a liquor license at Lied Lodge on Oct. 17.
