NEBRASKA CITY – The booking room at the Otoe County Detention Center was busy Saturday with people suspected of shoplifting at Walmart.
40-year-old Nicole Baker, who failed to appear last June for preliminary hearing on a possession charge, was picked up by police responding to a shoplifting complaint.
Jared Foster, 20, of Hamburg was also arrested for failure to appear when Walmart employees complained of shoplifting. While police were still at the store, 22-year-old Cole Bohlen of Nebraska City was accused of theft. He was also arrested on a warrant.
Sindy Lopez-Duran, 26, of Nebraska City was arrested for trespassing at Walmart. She had been been banned from the store on an earlier shoplifting charge.
Neeman said a fifth person were cited for shoplifting and released.
