Marion P. “Dugan” (pronounced Doogan) Gregg, age 81 of Nehawka died March 15, 2017 at CHI Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln. Dugan was born June 18, 1935 in Nehawka, the son of Roy and Fern J. (McVay) Gregg. He married Phyllis Ann Switzer December 17, 1954 in Nehawka. Phyllis died January 9, 2014. Dugan lived in Nehawka his entire life and worked in construction. In later years, he worked for the Village of Nehawka until his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 968 in Nebraska City and the Plattsmouth Lodge No. 6, A.F. & A.M. Dugan loved camping, cooking, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, Richard Gregg and his wife Colleen of Lincoln; daughters, Sheri Trimmer and her husband Rodney, and Kathy Gregg, all of Nehawka; four grandchildren, Joey Gregg and his wife Liz, Kyle Hanson and his wife Kelsey, Megan Trimmer and Kody Gregg; three great grandchildren, Addison Gregg, Ella Gregg and Izabel Gregg; brother, Jim Gregg and his wife Susan of Ft. Collins, CO; daughter in law, Kathie Gregg of Fulton, IL; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Wayne A. Gregg; grandson, Jason Gregg; brothers, Richard, Red, Harold and Lawrence; sisters, Alice Jean, Doris and Hazel.

Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with burial of ashes to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Nehawka. A masonic service will be performed by Plattsmouth Lodge No. 6, A.F. & A.M.

There will be no viewing or visitations, however friends may sign a memorial register book 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City.

Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
