Nicholas “Nick” C. Thiemann, 36, of Tecumseh, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018. He was born to Danny and Diane (Gyhra) Thiemann on February 6, 1982 at Beatrice, Nebraska.

Nick attended Southern Elementary in Blue Springs, Lewiston Consolidated and Fairbury Public schools. As a child he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad and playing basketball, football and baseball. As he got older, he enjoyed four wheeling, searching for Native America artifacts, working on cars, trucks, and tinkering in the garage. He worked on a pipeline project in Minnesota and later became a carpenter and jack of all trades. He has 2 children, Shaylie Rose and Brantley Nox Thiemann. He loved his children and step children.

He is survived by his mother, Diana Thiemann and her fiance’ Doug Frohberg of Tecumseh, daughter, Shaylie Thiemann and son Brantly Thiemann of Tecumseh, fiance’ Emily Oenbring of Tecumseh and her children Chayce, Kenzie and Abby, sisters, Jessica Schwerin and husband Matt of Aitkin, MN and Nicole Thiemann of Fairbury, brother, Mitchell Thiemann of Adams, grandparents, Helen Gyhra of Steinauer and Donna and Darrell Thiemann of Pawnee City, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Nick was preceded in death by his father Danny Thiemann and grandfather, Joseph Gyhra.

Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Steinauer, Nebraska with Father Michael Christensen officiating.

Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Pawnee City, Nebraska, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Memorials may go to the family’s choice.

Private family inurnment will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Steinauer, Nebraska at a later date.
