RICHARD (DICK) GOOD, age 81 of Tabor, IA, formerly of the Shenandoah and Imogene, IA area, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Tabor Manor following a brief illness. Dick was born October 10, 1936 in Shenandoah, IA to Harry Lynn Good and Mary Louise (Skahill) Good. He was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shenandoah and lived with his parents on their farm until his Mother, Mary, passed away. Since that time Dick has been a resident of the area living for a time at the Manor of Malvern, Kevinton Lane in Sidney and then Tabor Manor.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glenn Good. He is survived by his sister-in-law, JoAnn Good of Elkhorn, NE; nephew, Greg Good and wife Shanon of Omaha, NE; niece, Marie Matuella and husband Nick of Omaha; great nieces and nephews, Natalie Matuella, Emily Matuella, Michael Good and David Good all of Omaha; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday, October 4, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Imogene, IA with Fr. Bob Dufford S.J. officiating. Visitations will be with the family greeting friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Thursday at the Church. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery near Imogene and memorials will to go the Tabor Volunteer Rescue Association.
