Zelpha Marie Steeby, 98, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.
She was born Jan. 1, 1921 in Altamont, Kansas to Ammon Richard and Zelma Faye (Palmer) Steeby.
Zelpha worked as a beautician in Savannah for 24 years before her retirement, having trained at St. Joseph Beauty College.
Preceding her in death were her brothers, William “Bill” Steeby, Floyd “Jake” Steeby; and sisters, Bernita Hughes and Mildred Johnston.
Survivors include her siblings, Edward Steeby, Donna Shreve, and Faye Atkins, all of Savannah; sister-in-law, Mary Steeby of Amazonia; brother-in-law, Franklin Hughes of Mound City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: Saturday, March 23, 2019, 11:00 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment: Fillmore Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.chamberlainfuneral.com.
