Peru State’s head coach, Steve Schneider, who is heading into his sixth season at the helm, is cautiously optimistic about the group of newcomers and how they will blend in during fall camp. He noted, “We work very hard to identify individuals who can come in and be successful, not just in the football program, but in the academic side of the house.”

Fall camp will open in early August. The Bobcats plan to scrimmage Doane on August 17 and then will open the regular season at home on Saturday, August 26, against Avila (Mo.).
