Benedictine sweeps Peru State

ATCHISON – The home-standing Benedictine Ravens won a double header over Peru State on Thursday in Atchison, Kan., by identical 10-4 margins.

With the double header sweep, Benedictine improved to 22-8 on the year and are now 14-7 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) South Division. Peru State fell to 14-20 and are 11-10 in the Heart North.

Peru State will be hosting Baker (Kan.) on Saturday for a double header beginning at 1 p.m. The Wildcats are 18-21 on the year and are 8-11 in the Heart South. Baker will be playing Graceland on Friday before heading to the Centennial Complex Field.
