Boshart credits Culver-Stockton’s defense and the adjustments they made against PSC’s offense.

“I know we get in games like this where things start slipping away and guys loose their cool. Someone’s got to keep their cool. Someone’s got to be the leader. I’m just thankful that I’ve been able to do that for guys and just kind of bring them back in. Once we hit that field, we just got to go to work.”

Senior fullback Deondrae Mayo added 120 yards on the ground on 16 carries. Another senior back, Colton Audsley, scored twice.

Freshman Zach Taylor led the Bobcats with 13 tackles and a tackle for loss. Defensive end Justin Willis had a pick-six in the second quarter to make the score 21-7.

Junior Mitch Orr opened the third quarter with an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. That would be the final time the ‘Cats would score in the game.
