More Changes to Bobcat Baseball Schedule

PERU – Everyone following spring sports this year needs a big dry erase board so you can continue to make changes.

That is the case again for the Bobcat baseball team as they have had two games cancelled for the week of March 11 and their conference series moved to another location.

Peru State was to have travelled to Sterling, Kan., to face the Sterling Warriors on Tuesday. The single game was postponed with the possibility of playing a double header in Peru next week on March 19. While that is highly unlikely, the teams could look for an open date later on their schedule.

The ‘Cats were to have hosted the York Panthers on Wednesday, March 13, for a single nine-inning contest. That, too, has been postponed with the possibility of playing a double header at York on April 2.

Finally, the weekend Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) series with Grand View has been moved to Joplin, Mo., as the Vikings’ field in Des Moines will not be ready by Saturday. The teams will play a double header on Saturday and a single game on Sunday.
