Peru State adds baseball game with Bellevue

PERU – The Peru State baseball team will be finally opening their home schedule this week with an additional game added to the schedule.

The Bobcats will be hosting Bellevue on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Centennial Complex Field. This will be a nine-inning non-conference contest.

The Bruins are presently 13-13 on the season having won their last six contests in a row. Peru State is now 10-12 having won six out of nine contests.

The ‘Cats will also be home this weekend – presently on Saturday and Sunday against Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) opponent Mount Mercy (Iowa). The Pride are currently 12-12 overall and are 9-7 in Heart action. A double header is scheduled for Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. with one nine-inning game scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m.
