Peru State announces 2018 football commitments

PERU – The Peru State Bobcat football coaching staff has announced its commits for the 2018 fall campaign.

The following have indicated their commitment to play for the Bobcats in the fall with their previous school and state listed, in addition to their projected position they will play. They are listed alphabetically:

The commitments will join approximately 80+ returners in August.

Peru State’s head coach, Steve Schneider, who is heading into his seventh season at the helm, is cautiously optimistic about the group of newcomers and how they will blend in during fall camp. He noted, “We work very hard to identify individuals who can come in and be successful, not just in the football program, but in the academic side of the house.”

Fall camp will open in early August. The Bobcats will open on the road at Hastings on Saturday, August 25, at 7 p.m. The season opener will air live on Today’s Best Country, B103 (103.1 FM,

Peru State’s first home game will not be until September 15 when Evangel (Mo.) is the opponent at 1 p.m. in the Oak Bowl.
