Peru State Drops Out of Top 25, Still Receiving Votes

PERU, Neb. – After scoring 42 points on the second-ranked team last week, the Peru State football team did drop out of the Top 25, but are still receiving votes in the most recent NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 poll.

Saint Francis (Ind.) maintained its No. 1 ranking, as the top five teams in the 2017 NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll remained unchanged for a fourth-straight week, the national office announced Monday. The Cougars garnered all 15 first-place votes en route to 340 total points.

The Bobcats fell 65-42 on the road to Baker in Baldwin City, Kan., on Saturday.
