PERU, Neb. – If softball players in the southeast Nebraska area want to pick up their bats and get a little practice, there is still time to register for the Peru State softball spring hitting camp.
The “Sunday Hitting Camp” starts on Sunday, January 14, and will run for six consecutive weeks. Participants will have the opportunity to hit with instruction from the Bobcat coaches and players for two hours.
A camper does not have to be there every week, but can come when they are available. The dates for the hitting camp are Jan. 14, Jan. 21, Jan. 28, Feb. 4, Feb. 11, and Feb. 18. The instruction will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Al Wheeler Activity Center.
The cost for the hitting camp will be $30 per participant per week or $150 for six weeks. The camp is designated for softball players ages 8 to 18.
To register, participants can register after on the College’s camp website at www.perustatesoftballcamps.com. Or, participants can register the day of the camp.
In addition to enrolling for a camp, each participant will need to complete a liability release and medical form that can be found on the same website. Checks will need to be made payable to Peru State College Softball.
