Vikings Take Pair from Bobcat Baseball

DES MOINES – The offense never got going for the Peru State baseball team as they dropped a pair of games on Thursday in Des Moines to the Grand View Vikings.

Grand View took the first game 3-1 and then came from behind to take the second game 4-2. With the wins, the Vikings improved to 14-15 on the year and are now 7-7 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) North Division. Peru State fell to 19-10 overall and are now 11-7 in the Heart North.

The same two teams will meet again on Saturday as they will avoid the frigid temperatures on Friday.
