A 2-year-old boy died Saturday after being run over by a bus in the family driveway.
Maddox Weber was “accidentally run over by his father,” according to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were believed to be factors. The investigation continues with help from the Nebraska State Patrol, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

An obituary published by Fox Funeral Home said Maddox “was a special little boy who enjoyed boating, camping, driving his gator, giving hugs and playfully tormenting his sisters. Maddox always had to have his mom in his line of vision and loved following dad around and copying whatever dad was doing.”
Maddox is survived by his parents, Jay and Jamie Weber, and two sisters, Paizley and Blakely. Other survivors include grandparents Bruce and Shirleen Schwisow of Beatrice and Shari Weber of Wymore, and great-grandmother Emma Evers of Beatrice.
