Comedians, singers, goofballs and old friends Steve Martin and Martin Short will bring their variety show to Omaha next year.

The pair will perform together at the Orpheum Theater on April 18. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticket Omaha.

Martin and Short first met on the set of “¡Three Amigos!” and they’re longtime friends. A mix of stories, stand-up, songs and sketches, their show started as a tour in 2016, and it came through Lincoln.

The tour was even filmed for a Netflix comedy special: “An Evening You Will Forget For the Rest of Your Life.”

Their new show, “Now You See Them, Soon You Won’t,” will be a similar event with stories, stand-up, musical numbers and conversations between the pair.

Short and Martin have appeared in numerous films and movies, sometimes together.

Martin’s work has earned him an honorary Oscar, five Grammys, an Emmy, the Mark Twain Prize and the Kennedy Center Honors. Short has also earned two Emmys.
