LINCOLN, Nebraska. – The Lincoln Police Department is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for vandalizing a police cruiser early Wednesday morning.
LPD says that an officer was driving the cruiser northbound on S. 40th Street near the intersection of San Mateo Lane at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday when an object struck the windshield.
A search of the area revealed that a piece of concrete rock the size of a baseball struck the cruiser. Police believe the incident may be connected to three similar car vandalisms in the area that occurred back in June.
