State troopers seize 300 pounds of marijuana and other products worth $1 million

Nebraska State troopers have arrested an Oregon man after finding more than 300 pounds of marijuana and other THC products during a traffic stop 18 miles east of Sidney, Nebraska.

A trooper saw a Dodge Caravan with expired registration driving east on Interstate 80 just after midnight on Wednesday near Lodgepole, Nebraska. The trooper stopped the van and smelled the odor of marijuana.

Authorities searched the van and found 309 pounds of marijuana, 46 pounds of THC edible products, 14 pounds of THC shatter, 80 grams of THC syrup and 2,000 THC vape cartridges. The street value of the items is estimated at more than $1 million.

The 33-year-old man, of Medford, Oregon, was booked into Cheyenne County Jail.
