Trump approves disaster declaration for 10 Nebraska counties

County roads departments in Nebraska reported almost $4 million in damage from summer storms. And that doesn’t take into account damage to the electrical grid and other facilities.

This week, President Donald Trump issued a disaster declaration for 10 Nebraska counties affected by severe weather in June and July. The request had been made by the state and supported by Nebraska’s congressional delegation.

Affected counties are Cedar, Colfax, Cuming, Dakota, Dixon, Harlan, Logan, Thomas, Thurston and Wayne.
